A line I liked in the book was "Why make dirty what is beautiful, spoil what is perfect?" because many people do throw precious things out and take in trash without realizing it. And its a most common question I ask.

One thing I know now that I didn't know before was that the story is actually going back and forth through the present and the past, and that they have plans to sell the zoo and move.

I like that the story is finally not skipping around and is starting to connect. I don't like how his father made him watch the tiger eat the goat and is calling him weak. I also like how he is open minded and not sticking to one thing; he sees both sides to the story.

Something I read on Life of Pi is that he got washed up to Mexico's shore. I thought he was in India and I wonder how he got there. It changes the plot of the story by changing the setting unexpectedly.
