Is there an idea that makes you stop and think or prompt questions?
"human endogenous retrovirus"(HERV): disease where an elusive flu-like disease targets future mothers or offsprings.
This idea makes me wonder if this disease is real and want to actually research it on my spare time to see if its true or false.

What I liked up at this point of the book is how the main character Mitch tried to keep Franco alive although he was his rival and I disliked how two characters out of the three that went mountain hiking died. It disappointed me because they were having problems between them, but after awhile they started to improve. So seeing them died was sad.

I would be at the exposition part of the story telling arc because characters are still being introduced and described, and the setting is brought into more detail.

"She had a slight but well-proportioned figure, white blond hair tucked under a dark blue Polartec cap, an elfin face with clear gray eyes."
