I am now nearly a THIRD of the way through this so-called "romance" (smut) book and this has been almost 90% just people standing around talking, the other 10% being the main character sitting in some fucking jail cell 💀 at least the writing feels more mature and less wattpad author

I am so ready to be done this book literally 2/3rds of what I read are people standing around talking about the same shit over and over again and the other 1/3 is Carter allowing Aria to take care of her most basic human needs and there has been 2 sex scenes so far one of them was like a 2-sentence paragraph jammed in at the end of the chapter
