Looks like I've already read a good chunk of the second chapter in Hebrew too. Not sure how I feel about all the digressive parenthetical paragraphs (entire paragraphs in parentheses).

There are now brackets within parentheses (bracketed paragraphs within parenthetical chapters), and different sized fonts for the two ends of a phone conversation.

The English version just arrived and I reread the first chapter which I had already read in Hebrew. So far the translation of Shimoni's dense and difficult prose is quite good.
