I cannot deal with the MC's daughter. "OMG mom, dad died even though he never visited me and also he lost all our money and got our house foreclosed...I hate you and i bet your glad he's dead because he was my FAVORITE PARENT. I can't believe you didn't let me go on a boat with a bunch of unsupervised teenagers even though i literally live on a super nice private beach house with golf carts."

i HATE the MC's daughter in this. i know in books like these usually the kid is meant to be troubled and they have a heart warming reconcilliation, but she is SUCH a spoiled brat. like your mom and dad literally own a super nice island beach home and now you're bitching to your mom.....for what???
