I just recently started reading this book and so far it's great. I really can hear the author's voice in it. It's also quite tragic because her parents die early in the book. Willow (the main character) enjoys counting by 7's and is highly gifted. She's currently in middle school and is a loner. After her parents die she doesn't have any friends and is currently seeing a counselor.
