R.A. Salvatore is who he is, but he writes Drizzt soooo good. And the way he handles Drizzt leaving drow society? Too good. Very realistic, imo. And I loveeee the moral questioning and change Drizzt is going through. Even though this book is a bit of a filler, it's still so character-focused and I love it. Drizzt is up there with Obi-Wan Kenobi for me, tbh.
