i stop reading this book because it wasen't interesting. it had no drama or anything all it did was talk about one girl and her life. I don't really like those type of books so yea that's why i stop reading speak

Melinda's school year isn't going so good. She is now in her 3rd marking period and her report card isn't so good from the 2nd marking period. But Melinda's friend Heather is lucky because she became a model now. Melinda wants to be a model but she knows she cant. I wonder if Melinda is jealous of her friend heather?

Melinda is a very good at basketball. But the problem is that she doesn't like playing basketball. Her couch had told her to join the basketball team but Melinda doesn't want to because she says she doesn't like all that running and sweating. I wonder if shes going to join the basketball team or not?

Melinda is having a bad Christmas so far shes home alone and she doesn't know what to do. Melinda decided to think what would her friend do. So she got dressed the way her friend would dress and she went outside to make some snow angels. Moments later her parents got home and they gave each other nice presents and she felt a little better. I wonder what present Melinda is going to give her friend Heather?

Its Thanksgiving in the book so far. But Melinda isn't to wow about it. Melinda's mother isn't such a good cook and Melinda is trying to help her so all the food could come out good. I think Melinda's mom is going to have trouble with the turkey shes trying to cook.

In the book Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson, Melinda, the main character, is having trouble trying to fit in. Melinda over herd on of her classmates talking bad about her. When her classmates left the room she started to cry. I wonder will she ever stand up for her self?
