Started off dull. There was a love triangle of sorts. A lot of confusion in the beginning. MC is angry practically the whole time; tends to overreact. MC's mom is a bad liar and has anger issues where Max is concerned. She's not above hurting her daughter if it means keeping her from the dangers of being with Max. I still don't quite know how to feel about this book.
