We have finally gotten to the soldier’s story. Although the retired man researching the story has a fascinating life, I was close to bailing.

I have it on good authority that this is a wonderful book and I have met the young Soldier in the letter and his three friends and they are not hardened by war as of yet. Their pre-war reminiscences were poignant and telling of their natures and their friendship.

By the way you were right. Flicks are called thus due to their flicker. D'oh.
Colin is my GR friend too. I suggest you keep reading. It's a good debut novel. I read it last year!!

Of course it sounds like something I would have argued with my son about so… there’s that. Half of our conversations are about movies old and new. He is not a big reader although I have managed to push a few Audiobooks books on him.

Lol, what is there to argue? When you're right, you're right. For me new movies mean up to 2005. The truly new movies I can't watch. I forward them and watch parts of them just to be able to diss these flicks.
