I find myself trapped in the articulate style Donna Tartt has adopted in her writing. I feel something is very wrong, of course there’s a murder, but, there is madness too. Someone, most likely Richard and maybe Henry, maybe all, it’s truly sociopathic and delusion romanticizing to horrors of the actions. though that might only be Richard. We only get his account of the story.
