Today in my book, the main character, Maxine, went to the town's arcade during school hours and broke a machine because Zola, another person, cheated the game and got the high score. She then goes to church and returns home and her parents are with her teacher and worried because Maxine's brother, Derek, disappeared when he didn't go to school and didn't return home. I predict that someone watches her in the arcade.
