The last part of the book was sad because all his had did was come home and get clothes and leave. The last time his dad came back he came to get some of this stuf that that vis when David knew that his dad was leaving and not taking him with. Later the mom and the kids brought their dad the last of his things and that was the last time David saw his dad. His mom told David that no one can stop her now.

I think that it is crazy how David's mother stabbed him with a knife and then wrapped him up and acted like nothing happen. I don't understand how someone could just act like nothing happen. Now he is able to go outside and play with his brothers.

Chapter two was about the good times the family had until mom started beating him. They talked about all the trips and things they di together and how mother was happy. Chapter three is about how he was a bad boy all the time. He was telling about how mother would always make him look for her missing things. He talked about the beatings that he got from her just because she wanted to do it.
