I am liking it, however, there is more time in the book describing their time in foster care that depicts child abuse than I was expecting. I typically avoid books with that due to my work & needing separations from that kind material.

I think you should take a break and read, like a romance (Part of Your World) or comedy book (Anything by Samantha Irby)
