“Start a stone rolling, so in three centuries you’ll have an avalanche.” My first thought was of America and colonialism. The founders came together to put forth a set of ideals for this country w/o addressing the problems that were present. Now, we’re plagued by the same unresolved problems, three centuries later, that will inevitably destroy the same institution we fought so hard to create.
