I love how much Aslan understands Quaid, and I'm a massive fan of people being accepted for who they are, warts and all. But I'm not sure holding Quaid accountable for NOTHING and not suggesting therapy (or another strategy to heal a bit) is not enabling.
Also, I'm thinking Quaid might be neurodivergent, some of his quirks and hang up are clearly from his past but some seem autistic coded.

I'm kinda scared about how this book is going to go. ''im now stuck with a new feminist partner who thinks all the men in the station are out to get women/don't care about women... I'm an ally, I've always been an ally, it's so unfair that she would try to say this about me'' I'm paraphrasing because I'm listening to the audio. But that little monologue is so reminiscent of all those '' good boys '' allies...

I can't change this update, even Google isn't helping... But it was meant for the next book in the series, oupsie 🤷
