don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying the book. but GOD DAMN what was that god awful dialogue just now? among the Indians? just exposition, exposition, exposition. horrible lazy writing on that part ngl. like it wasn't this bad with Bill and Henry. I genuinely laughed at the line that went like "Eh, since my brother died?" cause THAT'S how people talk, right?
