Liesel has found a love for books and reading. They have helped her cope and get through hard times in her life, and they may just help her survive World War II. Just recently, they started to hide and protect a Jew in their home, which can be very dangerous at this period of time. I can't wait to see where this leads.

In this book, a little girl named Liesel is fostered by a mean, strict women, and a calm, loving dad. They are growing very close to one another, and have shared many adventures. World War II has just started and I'm interested in the part Liesel, and her father are going to play in it.
