I'm on page 23 of The Only Thing to Fear. The main charecter has just seen one of her older friends get beaten and take to a labor camp. So far this is very interesting and I want to learn more.

On page 12 I found out why Zara was half Japanese. Her father was a full Japanese and was granted honorary Aryan Race and was in Fort Goering. He was seeing a girl but when she told him she was pregnant he filed for immediate transfer. The girl he was seeing was Zara's mother.

Had to restart the book because I gotten a bit mixed up with the story. So far though we have learned that Zara has powers that she can't let the Nazis know about. And she wants to join the alliance to fight them. Also I've been wondering how did her mother die? Was it at the hands of Nazis?
