About half of what I read today was boring; unfortunately Lisey isn't a particularly interesting character. The half that details her dead husband's past is much more interesting.

The book has picked up considerably in the last several chapters. I just think King dragged it on way too long; there was a lot of stuff that didn't really add to the story IMO and made me enjoy this book less than I should have. I felt like this story should have been around 400 pages.
