What is this shit I think I made a mistake reading To the Lighthouse right before this because it's awful. Dollar store Nietzsche and parminedes on the first two pages not off to a good start. It feels like flowery prose attempting (badly) to "get at" something real as opposed to good prose that comes from enjoying writing.
