I wonder why Bella Jacobs named both Darcy (the MMC from book one) & Baron's human wives Catherine . I was confused when Baron first mentions Catherine because he didn't call his wife until just now, so I thought he somehow knew Darcy's wife & was referring to her.

Sophie being more worried about the spider instead of her newly discovered sister & niece has me wondering if maybe there's a good reason Annie's mom left Sophie, Annie's twin behind. Perhaps she's not as kind as she seems plus the woman who kidnapped & raised her was clearly evil.

Even though it's not hard to figure out how this will end, I still find it charming and a pleasant easy read.

It didn't take much on Barons part to get Annie to believe he isn't into her after all. I thought she was smarter than that.
