I actually enjoyed this chapter way too much, even though it was "the" argument. I get that they're suffering from a critical case of miscommunication and self-deception, and I'm loving every single bit of it (except for Victoria's lack of understanding of Adam's behaviour, because he's really easy to read imo)

Reading this again, it feels so... corny?
