Zero value add in terms of analysis. Its a biography and one which has been done much, much better by Stacy Schiff in Vera: Mrs Vladimir Nabokov even though the subject matter there was Vera bur they were inseparable for a large part of their lives.
I hoped for some literary analysis of his books but sadly there is nothing new here so far.

We did go from rehashed biography to literary analysis but oh my God, the ideas put forward for e.g. Lolita and Pale Fire were such huge stretches, ludicrous really, backed by no evidence. Of course each reader is free to interpret the text as they want but to pass it off as anything beyond their opinion, using words such as "clearly", nope. The parallel with Solzhenitsyn made no sense.
