"Suspenseful play-by-play moments will captivate, from the nuclear chain reaction test at the University of Chicago to the preparations for and dropping of the first bomb over Hiroshima." This quote tells exactly how the book went. The author kept me reading the whole time with the suspenseful play by play moments, and how he kept me waiting to see where they dropped the bomb.

So far in the book they've mostly talked about how the American cause to build the atomic bomb was because they didn't want Hitler to get one before hey did. Also, it talks about how the KGB (Russian spy agency) had spy's all over the U.S. Also, it talks about Robert Oppenheimer who is the head of the atomic bomb project. Oppenheimer is in charge of picking a sport to test the bombs and he picks New Mexico
