Louie has problems with people because he is Italian and people just didn't like that. He learned how to fight and then he becomes the bully. He was a stubborn kid, he didn't like to listen to his parents or anyone. So he was a pretty mean, uncaring kid.

I think they are not going to be rescued, but Japanese will find them. By the time that the Japanese find them, Phil is going to die. Once they have been captured, Louie and Mac are going to be split up.

The character I like best is the main character Louie Zamperini . I like him the best because he is strong, fast, and brave. First, he trains to run for the Olympics. He was one of the fastest runner in track. Then the bombing of Pearl Harbor comes, so he has to go fight in the war. The war is still going on, and the war is a lot of action. Their is action every like on the ground and the air.

I don't like that it is only talking about airplanes right now and it is kind of boring to me. The good thing about it is that it tells true story about how the pilots die and how many of them died. That is what I like about the part that I was reading today.

"Finland was reeling, her Olympic stadium partially collapsed by Soviet bombs." It stands out because it was when World War 2 was going on. It affects the plot by Louie not being able to compete in the Olympics because it got blew up and he was going to get drafted to war.
