David Copperdield is sent to boarding school. His mother has just remarried and his stepdad and his stepdad's sister completely take control of the house. The setting is in England during the Victorian era. Copperfield lives with a middle class family. Changing the setting wouldn't affect the plot because the plot is influenced by the characters in this story.

David has just gone to school in London and goes by the name Trotwood. He has returned home for the break and is writing back to Peggoty, who he paid back his debt. The most unappealing character in this book is Uriah Heep. There are plenty of terrible characters in the story but, going more recently in the book, he is terrible. He is arrogant, rude, cocky, and very impatient.

David has just reached his aunts house. His aunt is currently shooing Mr. Murdstone from her house. This books title is very self explanatory. The title is very good because this book is about a biography on David Copperfield. I personally wouldn't change it

David Copperfield now must work in a wine warehouse to make mone. He meets a couple called the Micawbres and they are in terrible debt because of their habit of borrowing money. One question that should be asked is, where is the plot heading? Also, what is the significance of the Micawbres?

David has got back from boarding school for the holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Murdstone have continued to treat David with disregards. One thing that Dickens should have changed is the character variety. There should be more exotic, earnest characters besides David.
