Is it me or are all Berkley romance books terrible? besides them all having cartoon covers, the storylines don’t feel romantic. Like reading *really bad* women’s fiction…

From what I’ve observed it’s not exclusive to Berkley. The line between bad women’s fic & bad romance has become nonexistent—like the line between gothic & domestic thriller. They are NOT the same, publishers. Please stop pretending they are. 🙄

Avon, Berkley and Forever haven’t had books I’ve been inclined to pick up or finish reading in a long time. Just this week I reread lit fic lol. My favorite genre is just getting more disappointing.
I hear that. Even when something does sound interesting in the blurb, you dig into the reviews & it’s like nope, just more of the same crap. 🥱
