Dum dum duuuuuummmmm! Cliffhanger ending with a life on the line.
So this book was based solely on Ava and Baron with the later stepping in to protect her when Edward did a bunk at the end of the previous book. Of course fate would have it that Ava happens to be 'that girl' from Barons past that he's thought about for years but he doesn't want to betray Edward either.

I don't think I like Edward or Ava at this point, they both need a redemption arc for me to get kn board with their story. He is a dick and she is just dumb, I'm not invested at this point!

At 2940 pages, I'm making slow progress!
