I guess the first half with Ulrich was "what was" and the second half was "what could have been" but the execution was not there for me. First half was good, second half just completely fell apart. Any kind of tying it together or interweaving didn't happen at all, it was like a novella about Ulrich and then a random disjointed string of events where Ulrich and Boris occasionally feature. Missed potential.
