The worldbuilding was amazing.
Yet more than halfway through the book, I still couldn’t connect to the characters at all, there was very little personality/emotions and the writing style felt very disjoint.
I enjoyed, in fact loved Legacy Triology but The Darkness Before Them didnt have any of the charm or the wonderful characterization (for me)
