I felt like taking a little break from the book when I hit the chapter called ordinary thoughts. But only because of other crucial spiritual material listed as finished this year. I will be getting back to this again soon. I’ve also listened to his audio version of this material all the way through. When I finish, I will hopefully recall enough to write a decent review since I’m aware of aspects to address.

Ha! Prior progress posts here remind me this will be my third trek into this book, which I will start over since it has been 2 yrs since my last start. Given so much contemplative prayer in the past year, I imagine it may be like reading it for the first time. Will see!

Amazing. There's so much I could discuss that I don't know where to start because the material relates profoundly to one of my core lifetime concerns: my personal spiritual life. So far each chapter has guided and opened my soul a bit further by revelation. It is an exciting read for me. Perhaps I'll later quote such revelations here. (Too time-consuming to type, to one used to copy/paste.)

Loving it and my centering prayer group begun this fall. This book lighting my path. On this winter solstice, so thankful for that true Light. ❤️
