God this book made me so uncomfortable. I don't even know why I'm still reading this! I guess I'm mostly intrigued as to how Nila and Jethro will end up falling for each other in the end. I hate his treatment of her. I hate how she just WENT with him despite knowing he was a shady and dangerous man. I have no idea who Kite is but I have a feeling it's someone we know...
