this was an interesting concept, but im surprised by how little the protagonist, dick morrison, broke the rules. yet he was slightly less bland than the other protagonists so far, and there was even a little character development? except he described his son as half of a person-

"I started for them and someone slugged me... That was it. I had a breakdown. No screaming meemies or crouching in the corner. I just couldn't go back"
"She has a slight limp and a scar, but otherwise, good as new... I guess you could say the same for me"
i have sm unanswered questions - what breakdown? this was interesting and horrific and the resolution left sm unsaid

WHAT ACTUALLY- I WAS NOT EXPECTING- the lawnmower man took me entirely by surprise and unexpectedly made me laugh.
