the fact that none of the film adapations (that I've seen) have the scene, after they are engaged, where lizzie asks Darcy when and how he first fell in love with her, is absolutely criminal!

The way I kick and giggle my legs EVERY SINGLE TIME I read the proposal/love declaration scene. And the fact she refuses him makes it so much better... the ANGST! Jane Austen was AHEAD of her time.
