I would interview Katniss and I would ask her if she likes Gale and I believe she would say yes because they are very good friends for 4-5 years. I would also ask if she would keep their ugly cat Buttercup I think she would say no because of their situation and she dislikes the cat. I would ask the same question Gale asked her which is would you move to the forest with Gale. I think she would answer yes.

In my reading the main character Katniss is a caring person and has an interesting identity. She is from a very poor district and lost her father when she was young. Now she is helping and caring for her sister and others. She is against many of the governments decisions. I believe her true identity on the inside is that she will live far away with her family and have a life without being under the government.

I believe the author, Suzanne Collins, wrote this book for teens, young adults, and even adults. The purpose of the hunger games was identifying the problems in our society today and making them much more noticeable and exaggerated. An example is the people in the capital with many crazy hair styles and colors. I also believe it stresses on big problem, equality, in the book people are divided up into districts.

I can relate to her caring attitude and her opportunistic ideas and positive thinking. I can relate to her because early on in the book she stepped up for her sister and cared for her just like I care about my brother. I also believe she takes a positive outlook on actions and things that happen. As on her way to the games on the train she saw the positive when she ate the food and not the negative as got sick after
