I bought this for Claire Vaye Watkins' amazing essay "On Pandering." It's worth the price of the volume. I've also enjoyed the short story "Magic City" by Martha McPhee. Lots in here on the themes of children and, separately, love...guess that's appropriate for upcoming Valentines Day.
