Reading Mouse > Status Update

I read AB after COM. AB is the main females back story & in my opinion you can read AB first, but it won’t HIT unless you’ve created somewhat of a bond with the main fl through the other books first. There’s no wrong answer just preferences.

I second that AB doesn't have to be read first and imo is better once you've gotten to know the characters a bit in the other books. Totally up to personal preferences.

personally, i really AB first. i find there are a lot of hints connecting to AB throughout the rest series and i know i would miss the little connections if i hadn’t read it first. it’s up to preference 🫶🏻 i hope you enjoy the series!

Try not to stress over when to read it too much lol. Everyone was telling me different orders too. BUT if you’d like to go by SJM’s recommended order then AB would be 3rd. Regardless, no order is the “wrong” order. Happy reading! 💗
