I barely notice the printing errors anymore. I think I like the story...lots of extraneous back story descriptions that interrupt the flow but I'm still reading.

My edition has more pages than this paperback edition cause I'm way past page 250, but haven't finished it yet. Close. And now I'm getting impatient cause I'm 99% positive what the mystery is and have been for awhile. Porter uses a lot of narrative instead of dialogue, which makes it longer than need be too.

Printing mistakes of squished letters and lines of text staggering up then down across the page, throw me out of the story every few pages. What's that about the big publishing boys having better quality? Sigh.
