i think it’s quite similar - the article I read explores how this visible process of image-making is tied to memory practices. so not only how an abstract concept of history it’s important to the city but the very injunction to remember. & as a verb how this emotive practice relates to a city in production :)

Ahhhh okay. I can definitely see that, it is part of Berlin and Germany's image. Publicly acknowledging (some) aspects of the past to create new space for self-Definition.
