The second tests were hands on, and incorrect answers caused issues with the outcome. Cia and Tomas make it out. Will is bad and tried to kill them, but they escaped. Cia and Tomas go through the interviews and cia tries to best to lie to the best of her ability. She records what happens, so when her mind is swept she will remember.

Cia comes back and Tomas and will aren't fighting anymore. Tomas is acting strange. They said they met a candidate, but said that he left them and didnt catch the name. Cia sees dried blood on tomas's knife. The Human like figures are watching them as they walk. One peeks his head and it is shot. Brick is shooting them down, thinking that he is doing them a favor when he is not

Cia finds out the testing officials are listening with the bracelets they gave them. Someone throws a bag over the fence on the outside, and she thinks it is a trap. She goes anyways, and finds food inside, which she doesn't share with Tomas and Will, who they met up with in the maze (of very tall buildings.) Cia goes out to get water. She kills 3 Transformed humans trying to kill her. She leaves T and W for a day

Cia and tomas need water, and as the move they are seeing none, but then they see green grass, and a little pond in it. Tomas goes to it, and cia thinks its a bad idea. It blows up and something goes into Tomas and cia has to fix him up. They find 2 bikes that they fix up and use for faster transportation. They also find a dead candidate, with nothing in her bag.
