Yeah reading this is way better than listening to a bad audiobook narrator. While the storytelling is not strong (starting with a thinly veiled exposition dump), the world is intriguing.

I am thankful for audiobooks existing so I can stomach this boring book. Couldn't imagine reading this without putting it down in frustration. Not badly written, but nothing about this book resonates with me at all.

Gonna be honest, this book is really boring so far. Which was a common complaint but oh boy did it live up to the hype of it having a problematic first few chapters. But the funny thing is I'm on Chapter V. Fun times ahead.

Audible read. Really boring first chapter so I'm absolutely thrilled to see what else is going to come from this. Heard it doesn't pick up until a few chapters later.

I think the first chapter isn’t very good at it, the way it’s constructed is confusing, but it’s not exposition it’s worldbuilding
