I slogged through some of the repetitive narrative that made me lose interest to the tear-inducing ending that made me glad I finished. I was in college from 1969-1973 and this book brought back a lot of memories: the protests, Kent State, the music, the clothes, and, sadly, the apathy of some and the disdain of others.
