i'm both enjoying the story and feeling like it's losing its excitement. i don't believe the book has had a midpoint turn, and it was needed here imo. also, the sex scenes aren't detailed, and i know that's not a technical error, but i tend to feel like smth huge is missing when the characters have sexual tension but the sex isn't shown. it's like tension was built on the reader but never burst (pun not intended).
