Every passage out of this book is “I looked up and up at Xander my tall sexy and did I mention tall enemy he’s so sexy I almost forgot I’m fighting for my life right now but we are soo enemies… and I’m so tiny”

Going from reading The Will of the Many to this is giving me whiplash. It’s like I closed pride and prejudice to read wattpad.

If they don’t want to have to use 3rd or even 2nd years in battle maybe they should stop letting them die all the time. Also don’t they want squadrons to work as a team? They’re all so hateful no wonder they have been at war for 400 years.

I get it he’s attractive I don’t have to be reminded every time he comes back into the scene. The writing is very specifically millennial watpad vibes. I dont think I’ll ever get over the modern dialogue, so hopefully it starts to feel like one of those trash reality shows you can’t help but love or I’m really not going to like this.
