The friendship between Cal and Possum started. Possum brings Cal to his safe place. He impressed Possum by saying the word"Mu-to".Possum tells Cal to hide his France victory medal that he got from his dad. Possum was interested.My reaction after this part was that Possum believes in Cal and trusts him He wants to be friends.My guess for next Is that Possum will purloin Cal's France victory medal.Possum looked jealous

Chapter 13 was short.After reading chapter 13, I felt that Indian schools should change because Cal and Pop saw the discipline of a student at challagi. The student is locked in a small dark room for several days. I was kind of surprised and also curious when Cal finally decided to go to Indian school even though he witnessed some bad events. I think Cal will fight for justice and equality for other Indian students.

I felt very excited to read the rest of the book. Chapter seven started as people were making a mulligan stew. Then, Pop and Cal has a conversation about their great-great-grandparents. Pop tells Cal that They were full-blood Creek.They were forced to leave the farm they owned. Then, suddenly they hear gunshots. After this part, I was very surprised and curious what happened to them. My guess is someone got shot.

In chapter 6, Cal Black and Pop goes to a town called Fairville, Arkansaws. Then Pop tells Cal that Arkansaw is a town that hates hobo people. He tells that Hoboes will be arrested immediately if they are caught. After Reading Chapter 6, I've learned that Pop is knows well about Arkansaw.
