Unfortunately, it is 100% true. Not in every case, but in a LOT of cases. The vaginal canal can rip too, and you end up with stitches inside that hurt like a motherf*cker. Doctors will sometimes cut a woman open if her dilation isn't big enough naturally, so instead of ripping you're split open with scissors or a scalpel lol. You're welcome for the birth control!
