The more and more I read this book, the more and more I truly feel Truman was an idiot.

Everything about my opinion on the atomic bomb just changed in the last 30 pages - should’ve never been dropped. Crazy work by the US government to drop an atomic bomb on a civilian population knowing that the Japanese were seeking surrender.

I’ve never read a more engaging biography
