Hard to put into words what’s so special about the writing, I was going to use an example but it’s greatest strength is actually its diversity: chapter to chapter the storytelling device completely flips on its head, with endlessly creative uses of narration, dialogue, in-universe essays and emails, countless abbreviations, footnotes, causal use of “like” by the narrator, it’s so fucking fresh and beautiful

A very challenging read but infinite(haha)ly rewarding. I could already type for hours about how I love the unconventional structure, the dark comedy, the vocabulary, the way DFW paints a scene, but above all the way this book is written is so beautiful. I have never seen words that spill of the page like Wallaces, I get teary eyed thinking how cruel someone who writes this beautiful killed themself so young
