Holden packed up all his stuff, then walked to the train station. When he got on he met this woman who is the mother of a kid he had class with and he seemed to of started to have a thing for her and liked her. He asked her if she wanted a ciggarette, then a little bit later asked her if she wanted to get a cocktail.

Stradlater and Holden got into a fight about Jean, and Stradlater socked Holden one good and made Holden's nose bleed, so Holden was still really pissed at Stradlater, and decided to stay in Ackley's room, and lay on Ely's bed and thought about things.

Holden goes to get a burger after dinner and a snowball fight with Ackley, and Allie. Then he wrote the summary thing for Stradlater, then Stradlater got mad because it was about a baseball glove, not about a room or a house.

Holden and Ackley were in the room and Ackley was cutting his nails when Stradlater came barging into the room and started asking Holden if he could use his coat, then went to go shave. When Stradlater went to go shave Holden followed him to the can and was talking to him and started tap dancing and started asking Stradlater who his date was when he said it was someone Holden knew.
